>Untamed Wine Estates in Johnson City, Texas offers a relaxed winery atmosphere with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Hill Country and a knowledgable staff known for making sure you have unforgettable experience. The owners, Dane and Mckenzie, have produced 33 vintages of wine and millions of cases nationally and internationally before deciding to “break free” from the corporate mold and produce wine for themselves. Their current wine selection is from Monterey, California and can be paired with their small bites and famous artisanal pizzas made in house by owner, McKenzie.
Their winemaking philosophy: “We craft our wines in a manner representative of their original terroir. We want the grapes to remain expressive, elegant, and exposed – authentic to the climate and history found in each varietal.”
For parties of 7 or more, call ahead. Wine tastings and tours are available every hour on the hour for $40.
